It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 5'8" and wears long strands of opal and short yellow dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. Her long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Rosamund was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born into a rich family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and money/treasure
