History: He was born in a small plains village. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Umpen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Vonbin and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Vonbin discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Vonbin fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
