History: She was born in the east. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Mara learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and balancing her hectic life and new courier responsibilities is difficult
