History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. After coming to the age of reason, Norman took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
