Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Laborer. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep

History: She was born into a rich family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
