History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerbo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Gerbo was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Interpreter. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Interpreter, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Born to a Miller, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
