Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for him, and Diggory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the south to a Shepherd, Volen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Volen has worked very hard to control her curse. She has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born in a small island village. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
