Personality: Trail is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Claira fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Henry grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.
