History: Emerald hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Emerald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Adventurer business.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion
