History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anakis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
