History: Born to a Body Guard, his mother struggled to pay the bills. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and to find somewhere to settle down
