History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Locksmith, but he got bored and became a Farmer. He now owns his own business.

History: Serpent was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His first spouse was a Engraver, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
