History: Born to a Carpenter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Smoking hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Theodoric was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and balancing his hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult
