History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a Body Guard soon after.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Marbas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Marbas. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Uzza enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she has money and likes to spend it
