History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Nissa was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by vampirism.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
