His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Riardon took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.
