History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Balam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Balam reached his early adolescence his Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He uses divination through singing.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. After coming to the age of reason, Suhnae took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
