When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Weaver for the past few years.

Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
