History: She was born into a rich family. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Aasathra took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Fortune-teller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Whurbin hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting brigands, the young Whurbin began to lead the lost caravan. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and expand his business

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Ronwe was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and a deep hatred of giants

History: Thradal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult.
