History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and to prove his worth to the world

History: He was born in a small mountains village. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He bought a bastard sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and half-elven compassion

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kadana studied abroad. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to unite with her sister

Vonana decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
