History: The child of a Miller, who enjoyed hunting, Nala was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Nala took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor she uses now. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Thomas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She's in love; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
