He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He has worked as a Courier like his mother before him.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Shaena has worked very hard to control her curse. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Ploughman. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She is greedy.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
