History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has worked as a Ruler like her father before her.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Fletcher and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Fletcher like his mother before him.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and balancing his hectic life and new fletcher responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and wants to raise her children well
