History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Purban was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Sindri will drive conversation. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
