History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Avice reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Krimmon was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Jane was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Tanner, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tanner and was forced into it by her family; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, River was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has achieved small success as a Performer.
