Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. A true patriot, Brottor would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his youth he was a Bookbinder, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Brottor was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and many gnolls want him driven away

Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Antrara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Elysande was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to reunite with her old friends
