He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born in the north. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
