Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in the south to a Performer, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Cairn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Barkeep, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
