Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Richard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Cartwright, but he got bored and became a Roofer. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: John is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Seamstress, and he later adopted a second daughter.
