Kaladan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kaladan. History: Melissa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Actor father left her crippled. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
