The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During her travels, Keyleth and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Keyleth discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Keyleth fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
