History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents enrolled her in a Commoner school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Masseuse for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor
