History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Ulfgar's homeland. Ulfgar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Engong was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Engong abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miller and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found

Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Tippletoe lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. She tends to her Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and balancing her hectic life and new butcher responsibilities is difficult
