History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Hugolina was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hugolina decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and balancing her hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult
