History: Tethren lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tethren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tethren. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Williamina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Williamina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now mingles about in high society.

Performer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Performer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his father's many stories. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.
