History: He was born in the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Sun was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Thorin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Thorin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
