Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Qualen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Qualen hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Qualen and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Jaxi hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
