History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.

She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born in the south. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to find somewhere to settle down
