History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Stableman for the past few years.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Cook. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people.

History: Flask hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now owns his own business.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he likes to wear ponchos typically of a light black in addition to tight pants. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Astar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Astar liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Astar and his spouse have recently divorced.
