History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A freak accident while working with her Animal Trainer father left her crippled. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he wants revenge against dire rats

He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero.
