History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ranala was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Scribe mother left her crippled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
