History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Werydd and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shax. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Avice was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and obtaining odd cultural half-orc artifacts is her passion
