Personality: Adelard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has never given up on his painting dream.
