History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Erdan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Erdan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Erdan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Gomory was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tabaxi artifacts is her passion.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Shoemaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
