Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Therlin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Therlin. She tends to her Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
