Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tomi embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Tomi alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tailor.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Kerkad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
