History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Bertram was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Armorer. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and regain custody of her daughter

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
