History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Taklinn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

River's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
