History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a deep hatred of giants

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses in blue turtlenecks beneath a pastel coat with yellow slacks. Sporting a blonde mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Varis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Wizard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears pastel leather gloves, a pastel jacket, and tight pants. Her cinnamon fur is knotted and matted. Her eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Sweet never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Weaver responsibilities is difficult; and regain custody of her son
