History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and balancing his hectic life and new interpreter responsibilities is difficult
